Caroline Cook graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and began working at the renowned recording studio, Tequila Mockingbird in Austin, Tx. She was the office manager, the CEO's right hand man, the party planner, a copy writer, the coffee server and from time to time the bbq finder for Mathew McConaughey. She wore many hats and learned a great deal about the industry in a short amount of time. Soon after, Caroline got the opportunity to work with Amy Poehler as her Executive Assistant. She took the job. Along with co-producing several episodes of Amy’s web series Smart Girls at the Party and working on hit shows such as Broad City and Parks and Recreation, Caroline quit the assistant world and started attending the Upright Citizens Brigade school for sketch comedy along with various sketch writing/improv groups. Caroline is now a contributing writer and performer at iOwest and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Caroline is also a proud advocate for the LGBTQIA community. Her website, Lezbihonest tackles gay and lesbian issues using humor and sarcasm. Check it out on FunnyorDie.com or Facebook. You can also catch her performing stand up around town.
